In this first part of a longer series of shop tour videos, I go over the shop circulation and general layout of the shop. Also I go over what is new in the last 4 years since I did the last shop tour. The shop has an ‘E’ shaped circulation pattern with a main spine running the length of the shop with smaller corridors off of that main spine. The layout of the shop is set up in 4 zones: a wood prep and storage area near the door, a central woodworking area in the middle of the shop, and 2 specialty areas at the far end of the shop – the lathe and the CNC router.
