We have been thinking about remodeling our kitchen ever since we moved into this house 5 years ago. Over the past year, the planning for this project has gotten much more serious as the kitchen loses vital functions. We plan to keep the basic layout for the kitchen. The stove, sink, and refrigerator are all in good locations. I will rebuild the cabinets with a few modifications but in the same layout. The upper cabinets will come out and be replaced with 2 open shelves.
