I made a stair into the shop from glulam beams I salvaged from the pool house that we demolished to build the shop. The stair consists of two heavy sides connected by 3 stair treads. The stair is on wheels and the idea is that it can be both a stair and a platform to help get heavy machinery and materials in and out of the shop. It can also be a step ladder to get to high storage around the shop.
